  • Training sessions for Early Years Practitioners / Parents / Musicians - Music Fusion provides a whole host of training sessions ranging from 1 hour workshops to 20 hour courses. All training sessions are delivered in a workshop style exploring musical activities for 0-5 years.  Songs and activities such as creating a musical environment, listening and responding to music, using instruments and music making with young children are explored.  The training sessions explore ways in which music compliments and contributes to other areas of learning and development and how musical activity links with the four Principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage.   

 

  •  Conferences - Music Fusion are able to provide workshops for conferences. 

 

  • Inset Training - Music Fusion are able to provide bespoke training programmes for your setting to meet your requirements.  We are able to provide training for small or large groups and the time frame can be flexible to suit your needs.

  • OCN Accredited course- ‘Early Years Music Leader (0-3)’ - An Open College Network (OCN) accredited course is now available and is aimed at anyone involved with the care of babies and young children aged 0 to 3. 

 

Course Details:

 
  • A short course run by Music Fusion through the Open College Network.
  • Learners gain 2 OCN credits at level 2 (roughly comparable to GCSE A- C, NVQ 2) and will become accredited Early Years Music Leaders (0-3).
  • Three x ˝ day classes + a work based mentoring session.
  • Approximately 10 hours of supported study and 10 hours of self-study.
  • Learners will be taught a range of songs and musical activities and will develop their understanding of how music can enrich children and babies’ early development.
  • All learners receive a song book and CD to accompany the course to keep.
