who are we? about Music Fusion   Music Fusion is one of 24 Youth Music Action Zones in England and Wales, providing music-making activities for young people who might not otherwise have the opportunity.   We have been in existence since 2002 after a succesful bid to our funders Youth Music by a consortium of local authorities and organisations.  Since then Music Fusion has delivered music projects to over 5,000 young people and has offered training opportunities to countless community musicians ("musicleaders").   how Music Fusion is funded   Music Fusion receives funding as a Youth Music Action Zone from Youth Music who are in turn funded by the National Lottery.  We are currently in the 2nd Phase of funding which covers the period 2005 - 2008.   In addition we receive funding from the local authorities of Fareham Borough Council, Gosport Borough Council, Havant Borough Council, Hampshire County Council and Portsmouth City Council, as well as from Hampshire Music Service and Arts Council England South East.
